Would you like an opportunity to approach your curriculum in a more innovative manner without impacting your budget? If so, the West Milford Education Foundation (WMEF) wants to help through its annual Grant Program! WMEF funds initiatives that enhance classroom learning through innovative approaches to teaching. We support all areas of the curriculum - math, science, social studies, English, reading, language, health, art, music and more. In this regard, we seek to support promising educational initiatives and their replication throughout the school district.

The Grant Program is a competitive program that awards between $100 and $800 for projects that support learning and curriculum enhancement. Administrators, teachers, and Board approved clubs involved in the West Milford Township School system are all eligible to apply for WMEF Grants. These grants cannot include stipend fees..

Grant Selection
A committee of WMEF Trustees reviews and evaluates each of the Grant Requests received. In general, we look for the following characteristics in each application: innovation, creativity, sustainability, number of students benefiting and overall value creation. When judging, every effort is made to represent a broad spectrum of the school community.
